Project that we are working on and where your time, money and/or material donations Make the Difference

On behalf of the California Department of Veterans Affairs and the California Commission on the Status of Women and Girls, the California Research Bureau is releasing the 2013 California Women Veterans survey. The California Women Veterans Survey is the most extensive statewide effort to gather information about women veterans and their needs. The information from this survey is used by policy makers, state agencies and service providers in California to update policies and improve services for women veterans and their families.

This year, the three partners involved are asking us for help to promote the survey and encourage women veterans to respond. This is where you come in. Currently, a complete contact list of all 185,000 women veterans in California does not exist.  To ensure that the results of the survey accurately reflect the California women veteran population, we need as representative a sample as possible.

Every woman veteran has a unique story and something to contribute. We want to hear from all of California’s women veterans, as we are here to ensure their needs and experiences are heard and supported.

If you are a Woman Veteran, please take the survey online by visiting:
